JUST GLUE, EXTEND AND TWIST!

Using primer and PVC solvent cement

INSTRUCTIONS:

1) Make sure water is turned off. Cut broken plastic water pipe to accept PIPE FIX. Cut the pipe to the dimensions listed on the header card that came with your snapper product. , Clean ends of pipe.

2) Apply glue in 4 places to the ends of pipe to be repaired and also to PIPE FIX as illustrated in Fig (A).  Make sure all sealing surfaces have glue on them. Without delay proceed to step #3.

3) Install PIPE FIX between the ends of water pipe and extend unit forcing it in opposite directions. Give it a little twist back and forth to ensure good seating. Leave to dry 24 hours for best results.

Instructions:

1. Make sure water is turned off. Cut “V” in pipe approximately 3/8” wide in location required as illustrated in Fig (B) .
2. Use plenty of glue to insure perfect sealing and bonding as illustrated in Fig (C) . Glue on all mating surfaces and with no delay proceed to #3
3. Place the Snapper over the “V”. Grip it hard to close the repair unit…then, while holding tight, rock it back and forth until it becomes difficult to move. Continue to grip firm for 20 seconds, insuring that the Snapper seats perfectly, conforming to the pipe, and that the patented chamfers on the inner surface “melt” and form dams that trap the glue in place for perfect sealing. Hose Clamps may be used , put one at each end. Leave to dry for 24 hours, then remove Hose Clamps (If used).

Snapper Repair
